A recent study reveals that we can now calm any fears about
the safety of UV lights and rebuts previous findings of harmful exposure of the UV
Nail lamp. The study was conducted by Doug Schoon, chief scientific
adviser at CND; Paul Bryson, director of research and development at OPI
Products, and Jim McConnell, president of McConnell.
Schoon, Bryson and McConnell recommend that you place a
small piece of white cloth over your hands during UV lights exposure. Sunscreen is not recommended as it
will prevent service breakdown from the sunscreens film on the nails.
