The Asymmetrical Bob Was a Hit at the 2013 Emmys

There were timeless looks at the 2013 Emmys, some hot trends, some that wowed and some causing a social media frenzy.

Celebs at the Emmys wore their hair in a variety of styles, but we voted the Asymmetrical Bob a hit for the evening!

Claire Danes created a Twitter frenzy, not for winning the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, but rather for her faux bob and her fabulous glowing skin and gorgeous red lips.
 

Danes chose to go with a faux bob, which she pinned back on the sides for an amazing polished classic look.

Christina Hendricks also wowed with a voluminously waved bob in a strawberry-blond hair color. She also wore bright red lips.

Michelle Dockery looked great in a sleek bob with side-swept bangs and hair tucked behind the ears.

The middle part made a comeback on the runways this month, showing how timeless, classy and easy this look can be.

 Richard Chai focused his 2014 Spring collection on subtle patterns and colors featuring wide leg pants and wearable comfortable skirts, jackets and tops at New York Fashion Week, with all the models wearing center parts. The models hair and makeup was simple; sleeked back in a center part, tucked behind the ears and falling below the shoulders.

Roberto Cavalli showcased pastels, metallic shimmers and delicate fabrics in Milan yesterday, for his 2014 women’s collection. The look was in line with trends seen at Milan Fashion Week, with models also wearing their hair easy and natural with a center part.

The models wore their hair easy and natural. “It’s another interpretation of easy, natural hair,” hairstylist Guido Palau said about the look he created for the Reberto Cavalli spring 2014 collection, reported WWD Saturday.

Palau used Redken products; Shine Flash 02 and wrapped hair lightly around a curling iron and sealed with Workforce 09. To finish, hair was center-parted with fingers and tucked behind the ears.

Makeup was light, with light nude / pink lips and Copper Beach Pro Sculpting Cream dabbed beneath the cheekbones and pulled into the eye contour, reported WWD.

For nails, Keri Blair, MAC cosmetics senior artist, mixed silver Discothèque Nail Lacquer and purple-violet Girl Trouble Nail Lacquerinto Overlacquer top coat. The models wore neutral-nude tones on their toes.
