Wigs are back in a big way, making a comeback this year on the spring 2014 runways, with Lady Gaga and other celebs featuring them on the Red Carpet.

Here Lady Gaga’s seen at the 2013 VMA’s this year with an understated long off black wig.

Today, fashionistas get their hairdressers to transform wigs by creating modern edgy looks. Nowadays, wigs can be colored, heat styled and cut to desired look. Well known hair stylist Guido Palau of Whittemore House Salon New York recently said to Style.Com that “non-catwalkers should embrace wigs in real life.”
